Our Fees / Payment for Services

Piedmont Internal Medicine’s highest priority is providing you and your family with quality health care.  Covering the cost of that care continues to be a challenge for all of us – patients, employers, insurance companies, the government, and providers. We continually strive to keep the fees for our services as fair and as reasonable as possible.  Many of our fees are dictated by the government and by insurance plans with which we have contracts.  Other fees are determined by the actual cost of providing services.  We keep our fees for basic services to all patients lower for everyone by levying special charges to patients with requests for special services (like copying, faxing, form completion, letters, insurance appeals, etc.)

Piedmont Internal Medicine works closely with most insurance companies to minimize our patients' out of pocket expenses, and we offer a number of significant discounts and payment plans for certain situations.  We do expect timely payment of any patient balances due and appreciate your prompt attention to any outstanding amounts owed to the practice.  Our billing staff will gladly assist you with all your questions & concerns.
